Roberta,

I use Shakai shampoo and conditioner. It is gluten free and at Earth Fare. Like it alot and they have several formulas for dry, oily, colored hair, etc.

Hi, thanks for the information. If you find out anything about safe perms to use please let me know also you should try the carrot cake at coffee to a tea on the west end in greenville. If you call them they will be more than happy to make it

The chocolate chip muffins at Coffee to a Tea are great too. I'll have to get someone to go with me sometime this week and try the carrot cake.

I stopped using perms 15 years ago because they burned my skin. Can't help with that one.

Sorry, I'm not great at checking this site (actually, lost it for a while), but I have been using Jason's Tea Tree Shampoo with no problems... and this is coming from someone who gets a rash from just touching oat grass too extensively! I am not sure about Perms, as I have never needed one, but the Jason's is really good... and relatively inexpensive (should be able to find at Garner's or Whole Foods, I would imagine. In my home, Atlanta, they even sell it at Kroger! [=Ingles level store]).

Used to work in nutrition and it exposed me to a lot of gluten-free products (what a blessing!). If you have any other questions, I'll see if I can ask someone more "in the know" than I am get some information.

Sorry just saw this thread was kind of old. Well, if you haven't found one by now, a new option :)
