We definitely were in for a treat having Dianna Ivey, Health Coach, present at our June meeting. No one left at the end of the first hour--in fact, people kept asking questions for another hour!!! We had fun with door prizes, heard of future events, but were all encouraged to take personal responsibility for our own health! I have to tell you that we had a fun time trying out all of the recipes that arrived at the party!! We had 17 members come, including some new friends. It was a time of celebration and fun. Besides giving us all some new "ammo" for the upcoming holidays, I think it gave us a shot in the arm.

If you really want great gluten-free food, visit Lieu's Chinese Bistro off Woodruff Road in Greenville. Our Greater Greenville Celiacs went to Lieu's for the "Dining Out-Gluten-free Style" meeting this month, hosted by Paul Pimentel. The food was tremendous and the service impeccable.
