Cafe Paulista Grill is a Brazilian restaurant on Wade Hampton serving GF cheese bread with it's entrees and salads. The owner does understand gluten and can direct customers to safe choices. The cheese bread has a tapioca and cheese base and they also sell the cheese bread mix. It was yummy according to Leta, and she said it was great to be able to eat the bread served with the salad. There is a new coffee shop in town serving GF cookies, muffins and sandwiches. Leta and I went there today and had a chicken salad sandwich on GF bread and split a chocolate chip muffin that was excellant. The cookies were sold out. They are baking their goodies using GF mixes in house. It's Halloween, and I am so grateful that my favorite candy, Dove chocolates in milk and dark are both GF! Life is challenging, but as long as I have coffee and chocolate, I'm okay with it. October 22, 2008 My Granddaughter's 10th Birthday! Well, I haven't made these cookies yet, but I plan to bake on Sunday. I need to stockpile some goodies for the holidays.
