Cafe Paulista Grill is a Brazilian restaurant on Wade Hampton serving GF cheese bread with it's entrees and salads. The owner does understand gluten and can direct customers to safe choices. The cheese bread has a tapioca and cheese base and they also sell the cheese bread mix. It was yummy according to Leta, and she said it was great to be able to eat the bread served with the salad.
I ate at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers today on Woodruff Rd. Go online and download their GF menu items. The server was educated about gluten and helpful. Just watch out for the tortilla strips on the salads and the seasoning on the burgers and fries.
Has anyone tried the new GF cake, muffin and brownie mixes at Market for Life on Wade Hampton? I have not bought them yet. Margaret is catering to GF customers and carries a few things no one else on this side of town carries. She always has Pamela's Pecan Shortbread and a good selection of bread mixes, too!
